Pittsburgh Chapter - American Guild of Organists
Pittsburgh Organ Academy
The POA Committee is particularly grateful for the financial support that it has received from the Musicians Club Scholarship Fund of the Pittsburgh Foundation.
If music has found a special place in your life, and in particular if you like good organ music, you can make an important contribution to the next generation of outstanding organ musicians by a contribution to the POA. Your contribution helps in several ways:
It enables lessons to be granted to prospective students who have been qualified by professional organists;
- It provides a very meaningful educational experience for an aspiring young organist, something that they may not have been able to otherwise afford;
- It shows the POA major supporting foundations that others support this effort, helping the POA to ask for funding for additional support in subsequent years;
- As part of the non-profit American Guild of Organists, a contribution to the POA is fully tax deductible.
The POA committee has several on-going projects to raise additional funds. If you are interested in supporting the POA by participating in these efforts, that help is also welcome.
You may send contributions or make inquiries to POA Director, Richard Pinkerton at:
Southminster Presbyterian Church
799 Washington Road
Pittsburgh, PA 15228-2001
Please be sure to include your name, address, phone and optionally e-mail with any contribution or inquiry so that it may be promptly acknowledged.
