Recent Events - 22-Mar-2009 - Organ Artists Series Concert featuring Harald Vogel, international authority on German organ music, in performance at Saint Paul Cathedral.
Harald arrived on Friday and quickly felt at home perched in the historic von Beckerath instrument at Saint Paul Cathedra.

Several hours of careful critique happened before the performance. It was a lot of coordination to make sure that the registration was right as well as no tuning issues with the instrument.
Don Fellows, organist and Music Director at the Cathedral, was pretty happy that he didn't have to play for the concert. It gave him a little time to rest that weekend.
Finally it all came together. Beth confirmed that it sounded great from downstairs!
The crowd started to build.
Don was busy greeting people, it was a record turnout of nearly 400 people!

Downstairs, the St. Paul staff were getting a great reception together; wine, cheese, cake, cookies and shrimp were all on the menu! |
Upstairs, Harald got a standing ovation from the 400 patrons who enjoyed the performance.
Everyone enjoyed time at the reception!
