The following information is a summary of concert or recital series that have been submitted to the local Chapter. This summary is provided as a convenience for persons wishing a summary of events so that they can plan. Organ Artists Series

Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Guild of Organists has been bringing world-renowned organists to Pittsburgh for over a quarter of a century. Admission of $12 is charged for each event. Season tickets are available. Reception afterwards to meet performer. Click the Organ Artists Series link for information about this exciting series.


Calvary Episcopal Church

Music has always played an important role in the life of this parish and continues to be a central part of their ministry in the East End. (www.calvarypgh.org) There are a variety of programs, some incorporated into services as well as musical events. All are welcome to attend.


East Liberty Presbyterian Church

A fall series of three gala events inagurating the refurbished four-manual 120 rank, six division 1935 Aeolian-Skinner Chancel Organ refurbished by the Goulding and Wood company . First Baptist Church - Sanctuary Concert Series

A concert series at historic First Baptist church, corner of Bayard and Bellefield in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Street parking on Bellefield or side streets is typically convenient at that hour. The parking lot at Filmore and Dithridge across from the Mellon Institute offers convenient parking and weekend rates a block away. No admission is charged; a free will offering is received.


First Presbyterian Church

Oakmont Presbyterian Church

Located a short drive up the Allegheny reiver in Oakmont at 415 Pennsylvania Avenue. (www.oakmontpresbyterianchurch.org) Phone 412-828-5770.


Pittsburgh Compline Choir

A choral prayer at the close of the day Sunday evenings at 8:30PM in Heinz Memorial Chapel. Call the Lutheran University Center (www.lucpgh.com/compline) office at 412-682-6886 for more information. Located at Fifth & Bellefield Avenues in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh on the University of Pittsburgh campus. Street parking on Bellefield or side streets is typically convenient at that hour. Pittsburgh Concert Chorale

The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale (www.pghconcertchorale.org) is an 85-member ensemble of volunteer singers from all over the greater Pittsburgh area. The group presents a three-program season of varied music each year, including a holiday program in December, a major classical work with soloists and professional orchestra in March, and a pops program with prominent local artists in May.

The Chorale also is committed to singer training and holds periodic workshops with guest coaches and conductors.


Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church

Music at Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church, 5801 Hampton Street • Pittsburgh, PA,412-661-1245 in the Highland Park section of the city. Founded in 1837 as the second Episcopal Church in Pittsburgh. The congregation moved from downtown Pittsburgh to the East End in 1906. The present buildings are an excellent example of English Gothic Revival architecture, containing much fine art in stone, wood carving and stained glass from American and English studios. The four manual 1913 E. M. Skinner organ containing 62 ranks of pipes was rebuilt in 1991.


Saint Paul Cathedral

Saint Paul's Episcopal Church

St. Paul’s concert series, named Friends of Music Guild Concert Series, is in its second decade. The series includes major choral presentations , organ artists and other musical Presentations including solo artists, chamber music, and jazz. Details may be found at the music page on the web site.
