Recent Events - 26-Apr-2009 - Organ Artists Series Concert featuring Bruce Neswick, Organist & Composer Director of Music, Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, New York City in performance at Calvary Episcopal Church.

Bruce arrived and allowed plenty of time to get used to know the instrument at Calvary Episcopal Church.

Keyboard and footwork were both on the agenda....

Lots of registration and adjustments to do!

Parish Secretary, Marsha Morris, helped assemble inserts into the program..

On the day of the concert, the committee arrived early to set up. Don fellows (left) and Stan Yoder discuss ticket collection. The organ was made ready (center) and an early arrival (right) checks out the program.

Quite a few people arrived early....!

The crowd kept coming....

Calvary Music Director Alan Lewis (below left standing) chats with Larry Allen and regular patron Susan Stauffer.

Charlotte Roederer and Stan Yoder are on duty collecting tickets.

It was a nice crowd, people kept arriving!

Amy Muñoz, student at Duquesne University (left) was gracious to volunteer to be the page turner while Bruce Neswick and Alan Lewis (right) discuss final details.

Of course, there was a terrific reception!

Helen and David Houggy, Alan Lewis and Andrew Scanlon did a great job of setup (and cleanup!)

....and folks departed.

Aaron got to relax back at the Young's house. Larry Allen (center) and Donald K. Fellows (right) enjoy a drink with Aaron.

David & Helen Houggy also joined in for a well deserved rest.

Alice Young was busy in the kitchen working on the feast.

Alice had a magnificent table set!

Everyone enjoyed a terrific meal, courtesy of Hugh and Alice Young.

As the dinner came to an end, everyone signed the guest book....

....And signed out.         

The concert resumed after intermission with Bruce introducing and commenting.

	Stan Yoder (left and right) waited in the wings to snap some select photos.

The concert ended with a standing ovation.

And everyone adjourned to the reception...

	Eventually the crowd dissapated after enjoying a wonderful afternoon of music.

The next day at the AGO meeting Bruce presented. Quite a few members came to participate in the session
