Recent Events - 21-Mar-2010 - Organ Artists Series Concert featuring Jane Parker Smith, international concert organist at East Liberty Presbyterian Church in cooperation with East Liberty Presbyterian Church Music Ministry.

Jane practiced beforehand for several days to get registrations and timing exactly right. Fortunately Jon Tyillian, organ scholar and OAS Committee member, was available to help with page turning and logistics..

The church quickly filled up on the day of the concert.....

The concert was well attended.
The first half began with a flair!

	Intermission gave folks time to chat.

The concert resumed and finished with a great flair and an encore!

Of course, the reception is always a treat, to see friends, enjoy some food and meet the performer!

Afterwards, Jane had time to change and sit down to relax at dinner with Chapter Dean Larry Allen, OAS Committee member Jon Tyillian, as well as two of the AGO Pipe Organ Academy (POA) students - Nick Capozzoli and Dan English.
	The students really enjoyed chatting with Jane.
The next day was the AGO regular meeting with special guest Jane Parker Smith who would be teaching a master class after the monthly dinner. Nick Capozzoli and his mom Annette arrived early to be ready for the class.

Some pre-diner practice, socializing before and after dinner and then a serious master class where Jane provided extensive help and hints for the participants.

The brave participants and Jane pose for a final photo. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed Jane's terrific insight and engaging comments at the class.
