Recent Events - 30-Oct-2011 - Organ Artists Series Concert featuring Jeremy Filsell Artist-in-Residence, Washington National Cathedral, Washington, D. C. at Calvary Episcopal Church in the Shadyside section of Pittsburgh. This was made possible in part by the generosity of the Donald C McVay concert fund of Calvary Episcopal.
Jeremy arrived and spent time preparing, setting all the pistons and getting the registration just right.
Can't forget about getting used to the pedals on this instrument....
A lot of preparation goes into a concert; unique notations for this instrument and its unique tonal nature as well as how the acoustic sounds. |

On Sunday, the OAS crew arrived and started setting up and taking tickets...

Intermission gave folks time to stretch their legs and socialize...

During the second half of the concert, Jeremy again took time to speak to the audience...
After which most folks went to the reception to enjoy some food and chat personally with the performer.
