Recent Events - 18-Nov-2012 - Organ Artists Series Concert featuring Joan Lipincott, Professor Emerita of Organ at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, Princeton, NJ, in performance at Shadyside Presbyterian Church in cooperation with Music In A Great Space; and masterclass

Joan had been practicing for several days at the church and was doing some final run-throughs and checks before the concert on Sunday.

She wasn't the only one hard at work, downbelow the kitchen staff was busy with the reception fare....!

Soon others arrived and the pre-concert assembly of fans started...

Soon it was time to start....

Mark Anderson, Shadyside Music Director, and John Henninger, Organ Artists Series Director, both made some remarks and the performance began!

And the performance began...

People had a chance to stretch and socialize at intermission....

After intermission, the concert resumed with gusto....

And ended with applause...

There was a terrific reception afterward...."

The next day, Monday, there was an evening Masterclass with Joan at Christ Methodist Church in Bethel Park. Registrar Suzie Gilliland was on-hand to make sure everythign was set-up and in order.

There was time for socializing and dinner.....

After dinner, the masterclass began with several memebers who bravely volunteered to be in the forefront demonstrating their skills and getting valuable input from Joan.
